Day 1: Arrival at IXB / NJP – Kalimpong

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station. Meet our representative and drive to Kalimpong. Check in at your hotel and relax. Explore local markets or enjoy evening views of the hills. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 2: Kalimpong Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Durpin Monastery, Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, Deolo Hill, and Cactus Nursery. Explore the colorful local markets and enjoy panoramic views of Teesta River. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 3: Kalimpong – Gangtok

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. En route, enjoy views of Teesta River and mountains. Check in at your hotel and relax. Evening free to stroll MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Enchey Monastery, and Do Drul Chorten Stupa. Explore Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Flower Exhibition Centre. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 5: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
55 kms / 3 hrs (one way)
After breakfast, take a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a scenic glacial lake at 12,400 ft. Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir nearby. Enjoy the snow-covered peaks and return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 6: Gangtok – Darjeeling

After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling through scenic tea gardens. Check in at your hotel on arrival. Evening free to stroll Mall Road. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 7: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Local sightseeing
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. Return via Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tea Gardens, Japanese Temple, and Tibetan Refugee Centre. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 8: Darjeeling – IXB / NJP Departure
80 kms / 3 hrs
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. The Gems of North East Tour concludes with beautiful memories of the hills.
