Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Tezpur

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Meet our representative and drive to Tezpur, a scenic town on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Visit Agnigarh Hill and Mahabhairab Temple if time permits. Overnight stay in Tezpur.

Day 2: Tezpur – Dirang

After breakfast, drive to Dirang, a beautiful valley town in Arunachal Pradesh known for apple orchards, hot water springs, and monasteries. En route visit Tipi Orchid Research Centre. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 3: Dirang – Tawang

145 kms / 6 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Tawang via Sela Pass (13,700 ft), one of the highest motorable roads. Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial en route. Arrive in Tawang and check in at your hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4: Tawang Local Sightseeing

Local sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Tawang Monastery, the largest in India and second largest in the world. Explore Urgelling Monastery, birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, Tawang War Memorial, and local markets. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 5: Excursion to Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake

Local excursion

After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Bumla Pass near the Indo-China border (subject to permits) and the beautiful Madhuri Lake. Enjoy the scenic beauty and return to Tawang by evening. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila

170 kms / 7 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Bomdila. Visit Bomdila Monastery and enjoy views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Check in at the hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 7: Bomdila – Guwahati Departure

340 kms / 9 hrs

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. On arrival, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Tour ends with memories of the serene Tawang hills.
